1. The nature of coaching
Coaching is a forward-focused, non-therapeutic professional service. It is not counselling, psychotherapy, or any form of clinical or medical support. Career Reset Coaching Ltd does not diagnose, treat, or manage any mental health condition. If your needs go beyond the scope of coaching, you will be referred to an appropriate professional.
2. Sessions and delivery
All sessions are delivered online via Microsoft Teams or an alternative agreed in advance. Sessions will be confirmed by email once payment is received. The service selected above sets out the format and number of sessions included.
3. Cancellation and rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule by giving at least 48 hours written notice to jamie@careerresetcoaching.com. Where the required notice is given, your session will be rescheduled at a mutually convenient time. Where you cancel or do not attend without the required notice:
- Single sessions: the full session fee is forfeited.
- Package sessions: the missed session is counted as delivered and will not be replaced.
4. Refunds
For packages, a pro-rata refund will be calculated for sessions not yet delivered, less an administrative fee of £25, and processed within 14 days of a written request. No refund is issued for sessions already delivered. Your statutory cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 apply where applicable.
5. Your responsibility and no guarantee of outcomes
All decisions made during or following coaching are yours alone. Career Reset Coaching Ltd accepts no liability for personal, professional, or financial outcomes. No guarantee is made regarding securing employment, promotion, or any other specific outcome. Results differ between individuals and depend significantly on your own effort and engagement.
6. Confidentiality
Everything shared in sessions is treated as strictly confidential. Information will not be shared with any third party without your consent, except where required by law or where there is a serious and imminent risk of harm.
7. Intellectual property
All materials provided by Career Reset Coaching Ltd remain our intellectual property. You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence for your own development use only. Materials may not be reproduced, shared, or used commercially.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you shall not exceed the total fees paid under this agreement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
9. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
