These terms apply to your use of the Career Reset Coaching website and to any coaching services you purchase or enquire about. By using this site or booking a service, you confirm that you have read and understood them.

About Us

This website is operated by Career Reset Coaching Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. Our primary contact email is jamie@careerresetcoaching.com and our website is www.careerresetcoaching.com.

Using This Website

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use it in any way that causes or is likely to cause damage to the site or impairment of its availability, or in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or in connection with any unlawful or harmful purpose. The content on this site, including all text, images, and materials, is owned by Career Reset Coaching Ltd and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or republish any content without prior written permission.

Our Services

Career Reset Coaching Ltd provides professional online career coaching services to early and mid-career professionals. All sessions are delivered online via Microsoft Teams or Google Meet, or an alternative platform agreed in advance. Full details of each service, including pricing and session formats, are set out on the Work With Me page.

By booking and paying for a service, you agree to the terms set out here and in the Client Services Agreement, which will be shared with you prior to your first session.

Booking and Payment

Bookings can be made via the booking page on this website. Payment is required at the time of booking unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed in writing. All prices are stated in pounds sterling and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Payments are processed securely via Stripe or bank transfer as shown at checkout.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule a session by giving at least 48 hours written notice by email to jamie@careerresetcoaching.com. Where the required notice is given, we will offer to reschedule at a mutually convenient time. Where cancellation or non-attendance occurs without the required notice:

  • For single sessions, the full session fee will be forfeited.
  • For package sessions, the missed session will be counted as delivered and will not be replaced.

Where Career Reset Coaching Ltd is required to cancel a session, we will give as much notice as reasonably possible and offer to reschedule. Where rescheduling is not possible, a pro-rata refund will be issued for the cancelled session.

Refund Policy

Where a client wishes to withdraw from a package of sessions after work has commenced, a refund will be calculated on a pro-rata basis for sessions not yet delivered, less an administrative fee of £25. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of a written request. No refunds will be issued for sessions already delivered.

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of booking. Where you have requested that sessions begin within that 14-day window and a session has been delivered, any refund will be calculated in proportion to sessions not yet provided.

All materials, frameworks, tools, and resources created and provided by Career Reset Coaching Ltd remain our intellectual property at all times. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use such materials for your own personal development only. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We do not collect any special category data (such as health, ethnicity, or political views) unless you choose to share it with us voluntarily in the context of a coaching session.

Why We Collect Your Data and Our Lawful Basis

We collect and use your personal data on the following grounds:

  • Contract performance: to book and deliver the coaching service you have purchased and to correspond with you about it.
  • Legitimate interests: to respond to enquiries submitted through the website contact or booking form, and to maintain basic records of our work.

Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We may share data with trusted third-party service providers who support our operations, including:

  • Stripe, for secure payment processing.
  • Microsoft, for session delivery via Microsoft Teams and email correspondence.
  • Google, for session delivery via Google Meet and calendar scheduling via Google Calendar where agreed with the client. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.

Important to Understand

Coaching Disclaimer

Last updated: March 2026

Coaching is a powerful process, and we want to be completely clear about what it is, what it is not, and what it is designed to do. Please read this section carefully before booking any service.

Coaching Is Not Therapy

Career coaching, as delivered by Career Reset Coaching Ltd, is a forward-focused, non-therapeutic professional service. It is designed to support you in clarifying your goals, building confidence, and taking purposeful action in your personal and professional life.

Coaching is not counselling, psychotherapy, psychological treatment, or any form of clinical or medical service. It does not address, diagnose, or treat mental health conditions, psychological disorders, trauma, or any clinical concern. If you are currently experiencing mental health difficulties, we strongly encourage you to seek support from a qualified mental health professional, either instead of or alongside coaching.

Not a Substitute for Professional Advice

Nothing discussed in a coaching session should be taken as legal, financial, medical, or mental health advice. If you have needs in any of these areas, please seek guidance from a qualified professional in that field.

Your Responsibility

Coaching is a collaborative process. The outcomes you achieve through coaching are influenced significantly by your own effort, engagement, and circumstances. All decisions made during or following coaching sessions are yours alone. Career Reset Coaching Ltd accepts no liability for the personal, professional, or financial consequences of decisions made by a client at any time during or after the coaching relationship.

No Guarantee of Outcomes

We are committed to delivering high-quality, thoughtful coaching. However, we make no guarantees, representations, or warranties regarding specific outcomes. In particular, no guarantee is given in relation to securing employment, achieving promotion, obtaining specific salary levels, or reaching any other defined professional or personal goal within a particular timeframe. Results will differ between individuals.

When Coaching May Not Be Appropriate

If, at any point during our work together, it becomes apparent that your needs go beyond the scope of career coaching and may require clinical, therapeutic, or specialist support, we will discuss this with you openly and, where appropriate, refer you to a more suitable professional. In such circumstances, we reserve the right to pause or end the coaching relationship with care and without penalty to you.

This Is a Safe, Supportive Space

While coaching has clear boundaries, it is designed to be a warm, grounded, and genuinely supportive experience. If you ever have questions about whether coaching is right for you, please reach out before booking. A free 15-minute discovery call is available for exactly this reason. Book yours here.
